This morning I started off my day with probably the most intense spin class at WIO (Work It Out Fitness Boutique). I used my Garmin heart rate monitor and watch. See my stats!
After my intense work out I headed home to make some breakfast for the hubby and I. He had some cheesy eggs with Cinnamon raisin toast and I had my all time favorite Fage 2% Greek Yogurt with Fiber one cereal (instead of granola) with blue berries and strawberries. I always add a little ground flax to breakfast.
The other night was my hubby’s birthday so we had a little celebration date night at the Melting pot. This place is so good and aside from the food the experience is always fun. We started off with some spicy fiesta cheese which came with apples, veggies, bread and chips. It was soo good…I think I ate every single apple. I had the Vegetarian Paradise plate which consisted of Tofu, Asparagus, Artichokes, Mushrooms (ew), and Ravioli. I also got a small side of Mahi Mahi. This was delicious!!! My husband got the Land and Sea, steak, chicken and shrimp.
To end the night we shared Dark Chocolate Fondue. Dark chocolate is my F.A.V.O.R.I.T.E. The dipper plate came with cheese cake, strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, and rice crispy treats.
To end a perfect night we had a beautiful walk home on a beautiful night. The melting pot in Hoboken is on the water front so you are always bound to have an amazing view of the city has you leave.
Off to go shopping and maybe rock climbing!!!
How do you like to celebrate your birthday? Have you ever been to the Melting Pot?
