Recipe Alert! Quinoa Flat bread!

So I have definitely been on a Quinoa kick lately. Late Sunday I made a big batch of Quinoa and once that was all cooked up I found a few yummy recipes online. One of them was Quinoa flat breads originally found on!


  • 1 cup raw quinoa, pulsed in a grinder or food processor
  • 1 cup  brown rice flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup water
  • salt and pepper to taste

  • Mix the processed quinoa, flour, egg, water, salt and pepper and let it soak for an hour.
  • Heat a greased pan over medium heat.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of the mixture into the center of the pan, cook for 5 minutes, flip and cook for another 5 minutes.


As you can see from the first picture I made a little pizza and today I had some steamed veggies and dipped the flat bread in hummus. The flat bread can literally be used for anything and it’s gluten-free!
